In academic environments where student demographics are rapidly changing, the academy’s workforce plan to diversify its staff and administrator leadership is unchanged. This presentation provided personal reflections of current college leaders; then offered strategies to recruit and retain staff and administrators in higher education.

Served as national conference chair and host of the Association of Black Women in Higher Education’s national conference in Minnesota. The conference was held at Hamline University and St. Catherine University and received over $100,000 in corporate sponsorship.
